Canvi de plans!!

Senyores i senyors, nens i nenes, les coses han canviat força en les darreres setmanes! Moltes notícies i totes molt importants i excitants a l'hora! No sé per on començar!

Començaré pel principi doncs. Fa molt de temps que tenia un somni (diga-li somni, diga-li projecte, diga-li com vulguis...) La qüestió és que des de fa molt i molt temps que tinc la idea de fer un viatge. Però no un viatge qualsevol, un viatge a Alaska!

- Val - direu - Doncs no n'hi ha per tant, en Jordi ara hi és i t'ha entrat enveja. - Doncs certa enveja em fa, ho he de reconèixer! (a tu segur que també, no dissimulis! jajajaja)

Però el meu viatge serà diferent. Serà una cacera! No d'animals precisament (mai se m'acudiria anar a matar animals, ja ho sabeu). Aniré a caçar Aurores Boreals! XD

La idea és dormir de dia i passar-me les nits fent fotografies de cels estrellats i Aurores Boreals!

Per a acomplir tal propòsit, avui he comprat els bitllets d'avió cap a Anchorage (Alaska) i he reservat un cotxe que serà on viuré els 21 dies que seré allà dalt! (si no carda massa rasca, que en teoria no n'ha de cardar gaire...)

Sí, viuré en un cotxe... Però no us preocupéssiu, és un cotxe gran, on tombant els seients de darrera podré cabra-hi estirat. A part portaré tota la roba d'abric que tinc, plumon, sac de plumes, malles termiques, samarretes termiques, jaquestes varies, pantalons d'esqui, guans de neu... Potser em fotré de calor i tot ara que ho llegeixo... jejejeje 
I si veig que no és viable, doncs ja buscarem un poblet i llogarem alguna habitació en algun hostel. No us preocupeu!

És un viatge que em fa moltíssima il·lusió, però moltíssima moltíssima! I que porto somiant fins i tot des d'abans de venir a Canadà! Tinc tantes ganes de veure les fotografies que en sortiran!
No us podeu imaginar les hores que m'he passat davant la pantalla de l'ordinador empapant-me de coneixement sobre aurores boreals, fotografia nocturna, time lapse, Alaska...

És un viatge que s'ha anat preparant a poc a poc des de fa molt de temps, però que al final s'ha precipitat tot d'un plegat! Al començament el volia fer abans de tornar a Barcelona, fos quan fos que això passés.
Després va sortir la oportunitat d'allargar la meva estada a Canadà gràcies a la feina que vaig trobar i al fet de poder demanar un altre visat, aquest cop de treball. Així doncs ho vaig posposar i el vaig deixar latent en stand by.

Finalment, per un defecte de forma, m'han denegat aquest visat. Tornaré a enviar els papers per si un cas, però no em volia arriscar a haver de marxar de Canadà sense haver-hi anat. A part s'hi ha d'anar en unes èpoques determinades de l'any per a veure les aurores boreals i no passar massa fred. Per que a l'estiu no s'hi pon el sol allà, per tant ni estrelles ni nit ni aurores... S'hi ha d'anar entre Setembre i mitjans d'Abril.

Així doncs he fet un cop de cap, m'he decidit i he explicat la situació a la feina, he avisat el propietari del pis. I per tant el dia 5 de Setembre marxo cap a Seattle, on agafo l'avió cap a Anchorage i un cop allà el cotxe cap a la fi del mon!

A part de la càmera, el trípode i l'intervalòmetre, també me'n duré el portàtil. Així, allà on trobi wifi aprofitaré per a actualitzar el blog  penjar-vos algunes fotos! ;)

Canviant de tema. Una conseqüència directa de la situació amb el visat i el viatge serà que aviat em tindreu de nou per Barcelona! No sé per quan temps, i no sé quines dates encara... Com sempre, Cronos dirà!
M'agradaria poder allargar tant com pugui l'estada per aqui, així que no cal que aneu cap al Prat encara... Ja us avisaré, o potser no! Crec que el dia menys pensat, simplement reapareixeré a les vostres vides per sorpresa! Avisats esteu! jajajajaja

Ok it's late and there is a lot to write but I'll do the translation today!

I don't know what to start with! Things changed so much and so fast by the last weeks! There are so many news and all them so exciting and important!

I'll start by the beginning, I had a dream for a long time. And that dream it was a trip! but not a normal trip, a trip to Alaska!

- Ok - you will say - You have seen Jordi up there having fun and you felt envy. - That's not too far from true, I must admit it! (but you too, common! Who not!?) hahahaha

But my trip will be different. It will be a hunting! Not of animals, of course! (I would never kill an animal, I'm sure you know). I'll go to hunt Northern Lights! :D

The idea is to sleep during the day, and take pictures of staring skies and Northern Lights by night!

To achieve this goal, today I just had bought the flights, and booked the car where I am going to life for 21 days! (if it's not too cold)

Yes, I'm gonna live into a car... but don't worry! It's a big car where I will fit without problems, And I'll bring jackets, a feather sleeping bag, some under-pants, sky pants too, gloves... I think I will be too warm maybe! hehehe
And if I see that I can not sleep in the car, I will find a hostel somewhere!

I am really looking forward to do this trip! I had been dreaming with it even before coming to canada! I am so exited to see the results of the pictures!
You won't believe how much time I spent in front of the computer reading, and getting information about the northern lights, taking pictures of stars, and doing this in Alaska...

It's a trip that i had been preparing for a long long time, but that finally happen in a rush! First of all I wanted to do it before coming back to Barcelona, whenever it was.
After that I got the opportunity to get a working visa for another year, and I took the chance. So I let the dream for a while.

But finally the visa turn out to be denied! I will send the paperwork again, just in case, but I didn't want to take the risk of being forced to leave Canada without being able to t do that trip. Also, it is a trip that you can not do whenever you want, because there are times that is just too cold to go there, and others when the sun never sets! 

So I decided to do it! I already talked with my bosses and I explained them the situation. I also told William, my landlord, that I will not be here by September. So on the 5th of September I am taking a bus to Seattle, a flight to Anchorage and once there, a car to the end of the world!

A part from the camera and all the gears, I will also bring my laptop, so I will keep you updated trough the blog, and I'll be posting some pictures as well!

Changing of topic... A consequence of my visa, my trip and everything, will be that I will be soon in Barcelona! I don't know when, and I don't know for how long... But as always Chronos will tell!

I would love to extend my stay as much as I can, so people from Barcelona, don't go to the airport yet... I will tell you, or maybe not! Maybe any given day I'll just appear into your lives again as a surprise!! You've been warned! hehehehe
