Winter is comming!

Avui dia molt complert!! Per primera vegada hem matinat de debò! Ens hem llevat a les 6:30 per anar a la muntanya!

El dia no pintava malament, però al arribar a l'Skytrain i veure el panorama des de dalt... Diguem que hi havia xàfecs localitzats repartits per tot Vancouver, i muntanyes del voltant! Ja que ens havíem llevat d'hora, no ens hem ni plantejat d'abandonar... I hem fet bé! Per que els ruixats han passat, i ha sortit el sol! Igualment feia fred, es comença a notar com baixen les temperatures...

Així doncs, hem agafat l'Skytrain, el Sea Bus i el Bus 263 que ens ha portat a Grouse Mountain!

Grouse Mountain, és una muntanya de les afores de Vancouver, on hi ha un camí preparat per a pujar fins a dalt. Són uns 2.9 Km, amb un desnivell de 853 metres de desnivell, casi tot escales.
S'ha de dir que hi ha moltíssima gent que fa aquest camí cada dia, i molts d'ells el fan corrent! El rècord estava en uns 25min aproximadament. Nosaltres hem anat amb la patxorra i fent fotos i hem tardat una hora i quart, però també hem suat per acabar-lo eh!

A mida que anàvem pujant, s'anava notant el descens de la temperatura, i també s'anaven veient els primers flocs de neu.

I contra més pujàvem, més neu hi havia! I també més boira! Però el camí no tenia pèrdua! :)

Fins que al final hem arribat a dalt! On a part de nevar una mica i la neu que ja hi havia, ens hi esperaven altres sorpreses!

Sí! Hem vist els nostres primers Óssos! (i Llops després també!) Això ja sembla més Canadà, eh!? jejeje

Malauradament, per culpa de la boira, no hem pogut gaudir de les vistes de la ciutat que hi havia des de dalt de tot. Però al baixar amb el telefèric, ens n'hem pogut fer una idea!

I aquesta ha sigut la nostra aventura d'avui! Espero que us hagi agradat!

Today it was a very bussy day! First day that we have woke up really early! We've woke up at 6:30 to go to hike!

The weather was not that bad, but when we 'd arrived to the skytrain we'd seen showers spread all over Vancouver and North Vancouver... We decided to give it a try, and don't surrender to the weather! And It was the right desition, because the rain had gone and finally it was kind of sunny! Anyway, it was colder than the days before!


So we took the Skytrain, the Sea Bus and the Bus number 236 to Grouse Mountain!
 
Grouse Mountain is a mountain seattled in the outskirts of Vancouver, where there is a 2.9 Km trail to go to the top. The elevation gain was of 853 metres, most of it of stairs.
There is a lot of people trainning there everyday, and the fastest ones climb it in about 25 minutes! It took one hour and a half for us to go there, taking pictures, and take it easy! But it was also hard to get there!

As we went higher and higher, we noticed the temperatures'decrease. And we had also started to see the first snowflakes!

The higher that we went, the more snowy and foggy it become! But the trail was clear and well prepared!


Until we had get to the top! Where besides of being snowing, and the snow that there were already there, there were other surprises... We had seen Bears!! (and after also Wolves!) That looks more like Canada, isn't it?! jejeje


It was a pitty but because of the fogg, we couldn't saw the great views of the city from the top. But going down with the gondola, we could figure it out how would they look like!
